I’m fighting to stay awake at work. Had a cup of coffee this morning and now having a 600ml bottle of Diet Coke. I was supposed to see a client at 8.30 am this morning. I woke up late so was rushing to get ready. Thankfully, traffic was kind this morning and I managed to get in on the dot after a half hour drive out of the city. And guess what? He said he had to reschedule the meeting as he had another one to go to. Just my luck. I could've stayed in bed for a while longer. Hence why I am so tired.
My housemate's sister even asked me the other day why my eye bags were so dark. Despite the impertinence of that question, I managed to let out a chuckle and so did my housemate. What eye creams are good to reduce the puffiness and dark eye rings? I've heard that SKII is good, but
chalks said that only old ladies use it. Any truth in that?
Other news, I'm so glad that
DMNK has finally joined Fitness First. Now I have someone to go with who can help me and motivate me too. He also brings with him new ways of playing with the weights which will definitely "shock" my body. Like last night, we were doing our backs, and he was telling me how to do this thing where you sit on the edge bench, put your chest down so that it'll touch your knees and lift the dumbbells from under your legs to the sides as if you were doing the butterfly stroke in swimming. I can actually feel that satisfying ache that you usually get after a good workout today. I should've asked him to help me when I was doing my biceps too.
