The Weekenders

I had such a massive weekend. And it hardly involved clubbing (well, an hour at the Peel on Friday doesn’t count) and drinking. Makes me feel like I’m back in Singapore again (cute Singaporean looking boys at the gym helps too). Which is really, not a bad thing. I really did enjoy myself this weekend, and didn’t feel like I wasted a minute of the weekend. Only thing is, I’m still tired today. But looking forward to dinner and gym later with DMNK.

Talking about the gym, I think it was heaven sent as I saw the silhouette of this cute Vietnamese looking boy at the gym jerk off in the showers. I was like...what the hell is he doing??? I was so tempted to just push open the door and jump in with him. No, I didn’t stay for the finale but I’m sure it must’ve been just as hot as the actual act itself.

My friend from Adelaide is coming down this weekend for another friend's birthday. So it's gonna be another big weekend. 3 birthdays this weekend. Thankfully, 1 is in Singapore.

Looking forward to this weekend already...

Compliment or insult?

True story from a friend of mine:

My friend who is practically a gym bunny logs on to Gay.com. After a while of chatting, a window pops up:

Stranger: Hi. I like you.

Gym bunny: Thanks. Why do you like me?

Stranger: I like your body.

Gym bunny: Yeah...I work out a lot

[Before Gym bunny could hit the enter key]

Gym bunny: I chaser

[Gym bunny deletes the entry above]

Gym bunny: What do you mean you chaser???

Stranger: I chub chaser.

[Gym bunny shuts down computer in a hurry and runs to room crying]

Jerk off showers

I went to the Richmond gym last night. I heard from some reliable sources that people actually jack off in the showers…and leave their doors open! Now this I had to see.

So, I met up with Terry who usually goes to Richmond anyway. The place has not changed in the one year that I have been absent from its premises. Same old equipment, but different people. Terry said that a lot of the gym-junkies here go to Market over the weekend too. I was frantically scanning through the crowd to see if any of them are the ones that I cruised at Market – none. There are a few whom I recognised form Market though.

Terry confirmed the jacking off in showers too.

Well, of course, the main purpose of me going to the gym was not to see the exhibitionists at work, but to work out. I’m feeling the bulge right now…no, higher. Must be the winter binge.

Anyway, after my work-out, which was about 9 pm, I rushed to the changing room as the double episode of 24 was going to be on at 9.30 pm. Alas, I was the only one in the changing room and the showers at that time. But then again, I wouldn’t have had time to stand and watch any performances anyway.

Guess where I’ll be going to gym tonight *wink*

SOX

I’m so over doing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) work. Been doing it for the past 2 months. As I mentioned in my previous post, SOX is basically this US requirement for all (listed) companies where management and their auditors have to assess and document their processes and controls for their main cycles (e.g. revenue and receivables, purchases to payables, inventories, etc).

I’m so glad that as I look at my work planner for the next few months to year-end, it’s mostly audit work. It’ll be so refreshing to look at numbers again (Yes, I’m a geek. But give me numbers over words anytime). At least I learnt about controls and processes of companies.

This SOX experience better add a premium to my marketability!

Idleness

I’m sitting here at my desk wondering what to do next. Then, a thought popped into my mind. Maybe I should go get another drink.

Feet: Too lazy to walk.
Me: Damn you feet. Gonna work you out later at the gym.

I look out the window. It’s quite interesting to see what it looks like outside of “jail”. I see darkness and a streak of light coming through the clouds. The view on the 27th floor is amazing.

My counterpart in Singapore informed me of what the bonus that they received in Singapore. My jaw dropped. What am I doing in Melbourne - Land of no bonus and high taxes? Discussed this with my colleague and he said with the bonus that I would be receiving in Singapore if I was still there, I could buy 4-5 LV bags, 20 Gucci wallets, a trip to Hong Kong to shop like mad, and the imagination just runs wild. Then, I asked another colleague who came to Melbourne at about the same time as I did – what are we doing here? He reiterated that we came here for the life style. The balanced life style. I’m like…with the bonus that I get in Singapore, I can probably take a whole month of unpaid leave on top of my leave entitlement and get that lifestyle (but of course I won’t do that. I’ve got LVs, Guccis and Hong Kong trips to go for). Now my mind drifts…Singapore? Cuter guys there too *wink*
